The Shipping News
Time is passing at a strange speed here; sometimes it feels like the last few months have actually been years, and sometimes it feels like just days have passed since everything was turned upside-down.
The postal service here in France is reportedly running at full capacity again, but that’s not the case in many, many places across the world. I’m shipping orders in double-quick time to get them on their way to you as soon as possible, but please keep in mind that your local customs offices and post depots are likely to be running at a fraction of their usual capacity.
As much as I’d like to provide updated shipping time estimates for your orders, each location varies so wildly that it’s impossible to give you even a guesstimation. As an example, parcels to the US are taking anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months to arrive, whist here in France some things take 24 hours and others take 2 weeks. There’s no rhyme or reason to it at this stage, but please know that the postal services and I are doing everything in our power to get your orders to you ASAP.
This is also a good time for a bit of housekeeping re: tracked shipping; tracking is only available when you choose to upgrade to the ‘tracked shipping’ option at the checkout. This costs quite a bit more than the standard shipping option so I understand that most people don’t choose it (I’m in that camp too, I’m all for a slower-but-cheaper parcel when I’m shopping for myself!), but this is the only way you can get tracking for an order. Please also note that tracking cannot be added to parcels after dispatch.
As always, I’m forever grateful to each and every customer for being so understanding during this time of upheaval. As always, you can contact me if you have any questions!
Before I go I’ll leave you with a few of my favourite products at the moment - the stationery has been particularly useful for all my contingency planning over the last few months!
