New for 2021: I’m so proud to be able to offer my best-selling constellation socks in a wider size range - I’ve switched suppliers so the larger socks are made from a gorgeous so-inky-blue-it’s-almost-black yarn. They’re made in small batches in the EU by my new favourite family-owned company.

I designed these constellation socks shortly after finishing my PhD in observational astronomy. Humans have been finding patterns and shapes in the stars for thousands of years, and using them to tell stories and find their way at night. In 1922 the International Astronomical Union (IAU) formalised a list of 88 constellations based on Ptolemy's list of Grecian constellations from around the 2nd century CE. This pair of socks shows some of the 88 official constellations in the night sky. Can you spot your favourite?

I designed these luxury socks in my solar powered French studio, and they are manufactured by a small independent company in the European Union. Their high cotton content means that they’re super soft and of the highest quality. The toe is seamlessly joined and the cuff features a wide, soft rib to keep you comfortable all day long.
